this morning, we live Rome at 8 am , and drive throught the beautifull landscape of Umbria, see its charming little midi.eval pink stone villages on top of hills ,and reach Saint Mary of the Angels, visit the monastery where Saint Francis and his monks lived, continue up to Subasio hill and visit the Basilica of Assisi , see the world famous frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue, the tomb of Saint Francis..

... then stop for lunch at one of the charming places arond the antique temple dedicated to godess Minerva , walk around the narrow streets , before visiting the church of Saint Claire, back to Rome at the end of the afternoon.l
